We Are Dedicated to You and Your Pet. Valley Central Veterinary Referral and Emergency Center has assembled a veterinary healthcare team committed to providing excellent patient care and the finest in specialized and emergency medicine. After all, we love pets, ours, yours- all pets. We have each chosen a career in animal health to make a difference in the lives of animals, and of course those who love them. Our approach is one of empathy and respect for all who walk through our door and our ultimate reason for being is to do whatever we can to extend your pet's quality of life.
Helpful Information
Patients treated with our specialists must be referred by their family veterinarian and will only be treated for the condition for which they were referred. No routine procedures, such as vaccinations, spay/neuter, parasite control, are offered at VCVREC. Our Emergency department is open 24/7/365 and we accept walk-ins and referrals through our Emergency Department.
Daily Updates
If your pet has been hospitalized, we know you are anxious to receive an update as soon as possible. The technicians are able to give the most complete information after the doctors have done rounds and lab work has been completed. Rounds are between 8:00 AM - 10:00 AM, therefore we ask clients to call after 10:00 AM. If a doctor is unavailable when you call in, we will take a number and have the doctor call you as soon as possible.
Visitation
We know and understand how difficult it is to leave your pet in the hospital. If your pet must be hospitalized, you are welcome to visit the day after the procedure. VCVREC hours for visitation are everyday from 9:30am to 6:30pm and 9:30pm to 6:30am. If you are planning to come visit please call ahead and set up a time with one of our front desk coordinators. These appointments are made to ensure that your visitation will not interrupt your pet's treatments and room availability. We ask our clients to limit the visitation to 20 minutes or less.
